Meet the Board

Dr. Isaac Oliver/de Oliveira, PhD Near Eastern Studies (University of Michigan), is an associate professor of religious studies at Bradley University and founder of Talmud for Everyone. Passionate about the study of the Talmud, Oliver is happy to share this joy with colleagues, students, community members from Bradley and beyond.

Emily Winkle holds a bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies and Sociology as well as a Masters in Non-Profit Leadership from Bradley University. A valued board member, Emily Winkle has attended Talmud for Everyone since its inception and played an integral role in its development as a non-profit organization.

Rebecca Kath has a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies (Bradley University). A long-time attendee, Rebecca Kath is an energetic and enthusiastic board member who is generously helping with the development of Talmud for Everyone.

Dr. Mihai Vlad Niculescu holds PhDs in early Christian studies (Catholic University of America) and philosophy (University of Toronto) and is an associate professor of philosophy at Bradley University. Niculescu co-leads and complements the discussions held at Talmud for Everyone with insights drawn from ancient and modern religious and philosophical traditions, including the thought of modern Jewish philosophers such as Emmanuel Levinas

Rabbi William Hamilton is an alumnus from the department of Religious Studies at Bradley University and ordained through Jewish Theological Seminary. Currently serving as the Rabbi of Congregation Kehillat Israel in Brookline, MA., Rabbi Hamilton is passionate about Jewish learning and is a valued advisory member.
